As a Key Account Manager at Shake Design & Build, you will be at the heart of our business, driving both client satisfaction and growth. You’ll work closely with the CEO, the Founder, and the Sales team to shape and implement strategies that nurture our existing client relationships while also identifying new business opportunities. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring their needs are translated into successful architectural solutions and overseeing every phase of their journey with us. Your experience and skills
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven account and/or project management experience, preferably in the office or retail architecture, design, or construction industry. A background as an Architect or Interior Architect is highly valued. A well-established network is a significant plus.
- Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with executive clients.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with office design and architectural trends. Understanding of the sales process and ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
- Attributes: Autonomous, self-motivated and goal-oriented. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and competitive environment.
- Language: Proficiency in French, Dutch and English is required.
Your job
- Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with the CEO, the Founder and the Sales team to co-develop strategies for nurturing the existing client network and expanding into new business opportunities. Drive the execution of these strategies.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term partnerships with key clients, ensuring satisfaction and long-term engagement.
- Network Growth: Actively contribute to the expansion of the company’s client base by identifying and pursuing new clients and projects, aligned with the strategic vision.
- Needs Assessment and Proposal Development: Translate the needs and expectations of clients into actionable insights for the architectural team. Ensure that proposals, pitches, and offers not only meet but exceed client expectations.
- Client Experience Excellence: Take ownership of delivering an exceptional client experience throughout the entire project lifecycle, from the initial engagement to project delivery and beyond.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams: Liaise closely with architects, designers, and project management teams to ensure seamless communication and delivery of projects that align with client goals.
- Market Insight and Trend Monitoring: Stay informed of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to anticipate client needs and maintain a competitive edge.
