Project Manager

Job Description:
As a Project Manager at SHAKE Design & Build, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project, ensuring its successful completion within the specified time frame, budget, and quality standards. You’ll work closely with our team of architects and interior designers, report to our Head of Build, and coordinate all fit-out works during the build phase to achieve quality results on schedule and within budget. This is an ideal role for a proactive and client-oriented professional with strong organizational and technical skills.

Your experience and skills
- Experience: You have at least 3 to 5 years of relevant project management experience in office, retail, and/or hospitality-related companies.
- Background: Architect, Interior Architect, or Engineer.
- Skills: Planning and budget management, expertise with special techniques are required. AMO (Assistance Maîtrise d'Ouvrage) skills would be a plus.
- Attributes: A creative and aesthetic flair for solving problems encountered on-site. Team player, reliable and motivated. Extremely client-oriented.
- Language: Fluency in French, Dutch, and English are valued.
Your job
- General Mission:
- Conduct and optimally control projects to achieve quality and profitability objectives, using the resources available effectively.
- Objectives:
- Deliver high-quality finished projects.
- Meet project deadlines.
- Establish trust-based relationships with clients and suppliers.
- Stay within subcontractor and material budgets on all projects.
- Quantifiable Goals:
- Manage approximately 5 projects at different stages, with 2 to 3 active projects and 2 to 3 in preparation or remark resolution.
- Projected turnover: approximately €3M per Project Manager.
- Job content:
- Analysis of building and project technical specifications.
- Organizing and following up on the tender phase of projects, including: Contacting suppliers, organizing site visits, and evaluating offers.
- Preparing final offers for clients.
- Coordinating all fit-out works during the build phase.
- Collaborating with the design team, especially the project leader.
- Preparing, distributing, and monitoring construction schedules.
- Monitoring and reporting on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues as they arise.
- Communicating regularly with stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns or changes.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
- Organizing and conducting site meetings, including drafting meeting minutes.
- Preparing final project accounts and overseeing project handovers with clients.
- Following up on the resolution of client remarks.
- Compiling As-Built documentation.
