ARCHITECT CAD EXPERT

To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Architect CAD Expert (Freelance) who is passionate about high-quality technical design and innovative architectural solutions.

Job Description

As an Architect CAD Expert (freelance) at SHAKE Design & Build, you will be responsible for producing on ArchiCAD detailed technical drawings and architectural renderings, supporting the design process from initial concept to final design stage. You will collaborate with architects, project managers, and design teams to ensure that all technical drawings meet both aesthetic and functional standards. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in translating design concepts into precise, buildable plans and providing expert CAD and BIM support to the project team. Your experience and skills

• Experience: At least 10 years of experience in CAD design within architecture, ideally with experience in commercial and office space projects. Experience in BIM processes and 3D modelling is highly valued.
• Background: Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• Skills: Advanced proficiency in ArchiCAD and BIM tools.
• Attributes: A precise, collaborative, and proactive team player with a keen eye for detail. Able to manage project timelines, design documentation, and team collaboration effectively.
• Language: Fluency in French, Dutch, and English are valued. 

Your job

• Technical Design Development: Produce on ArchiCAD detailed and accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models to guide project development from initial concept through final design stages.
• Quality Control: Ensure all technical drawings meet design standards, codes, and client requirements. Work closely with architects and project managers to align CAD designs with project goals.
• Creative Problem-Solving: Offer innovative solutions to design challenges, ensuring both functional and aesthetic project success.
• Collaboration with Design Teams: Work closely with architects, engineers, and other design team members to ensure seamless project integration and coordinated plans.
• Project Documentation: Manage and maintain organized files for project plans, revisions, and documentation for easy reference and version control.
• Industry Awareness: Stay informed about advancements in CAD and BIM technologies and their applications to enhance project quality and efficiency.
